Bootleg Betsy was born in Northern Ireland and began her acclaimed fanzine in Wales some years later. She first locked the Hot Puppies in a kitchen and ruthlessly quizzed them about the band way back in 2002, and has been dancing like a lunatic down the front at their gigs ever since. Betsy whiles away the hours during which the Puppies are not on stage by moonlighting in a music shop in the Brighton Lanes and continuing to write for and edit the eponymous 'zine. She has also written for Rhythm & Booze.
